Blossom Tester Guide

External Testing Program

Internationalization (i18n) Tester

Welcome / Bienvenida

Thank you for helping us test the Spanish translations in PurpleBlossom.ai! Blossom is an AI-powered business growth platform for solopreneurs — freelancers, consultants, and small business owners. Your job is to make sure the Mexican Spanish (es-MX) translations feel natural, complete, and correct.

You do not need to test whether features work correctly — other testers handle that. Your focus is entirely on the quality of the Spanish text throughout the application.

Getting Started

Your Test Account

URL: https://purpleblossom.xyz
Username: i18n_tester
Password: Demo123!

Step 1: Log In

Open the URL above in your browser. Enter the username and password, then click Log In.

Step 2: Switch to Spanish

  1. Look at the top-right area of the screen for a small flag icon (it will show a US flag if the app is in English).
  2. Click the flag to open a dropdown menu.
  3. Select "Español (México)".
  4. The flag will change to a Mexican flag, and all text on the screen should switch to Spanish.
  5. A brief notification will confirm the language changed.
One-Time Setup The app remembers your language choice. You only need to switch once — it will stay in Spanish every time you return.

Step 3: Start Testing

Use the left sidebar to navigate between sections. Click each item and review all the Spanish text on that screen. The sidebar has three groups:

Group Items
Daily Workflow Dashboard, AI Hub, Campaigns
Business Tools Processes, Planning, My Stories, My Customers, Team, EmailWare, SignetWare, PlanWare, LandingWare
Resources Learning, Tools, Support

What to Look For

As you go through each screen, check for these types of issues:

Issue Type What It Looks Like
Untranslated text English words still showing (e.g., "Save" instead of "Guardar")
Unnatural phrasing Grammatically correct but sounds like a machine translation, not how a Mexican would say it
Truncated text Spanish text cut off or overflowing its container (Spanish is often 20-30% longer than English)
Grammar / spelling Incorrect verb forms, missing accents (á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ), wrong gender agreement
Inconsistent terms The same concept translated differently in different places (e.g., "Guardar" in one place, "Salvar" in another)
Cultural issues Wrong formality level (too formal/informal for Mexican Spanish), unusual idioms, awkward tone
Formatting Dates not in Mexican format, wrong currency symbol, numbers using wrong separator (should be 1,234.56 in Mexico)
Broken placeholders Raw text like {{name}} or {{count}} showing instead of actual values

How to Report Issues

How to Report Use the Bug Report form at: https://purpleblossom.xyz/bug-report

For each translation issue, please include:

  1. Screen name — Which section were you on? (e.g., "Dashboard", "Campaign wizard step 2")
  2. What you see — Copy the exact text that is wrong
  3. What is wrong — Is it untranslated? Unnatural? Truncated? Misspelled?
  4. What it should say — Your suggested correct translation
  5. Screenshot — If possible, take a screenshot showing the issue

Example Report

Field Example
Screen Dashboard
What I see "Perfil de completación: 60%"
Problem Unnatural phrasing — "completación" is not common in Mexico
Should say "Perfil completado: 60%" or "Avance del perfil: 60%"

Important Notes

Test Environment This is a test environment. Please don't enter real personal or business data. Use fictional information when filling out forms.
Brand Names Stay in English The following names are intentionally in English and should NOT be translated: PurpleBlossom.ai, Blossom, SignetWare, PlanWare, IdentityWare, EmailWare, LandingWare, VideoWare, SlideWare, ResonateWare, LEx, Sparks, Tour. If you see these in English, that is correct.
AI-Generated Content Some text is generated by AI in real-time (chat responses, insights, suggestions). This content may appear in English — that is a separate issue from translation. Focus on the interface text: buttons, labels, menus, headings, error messages, and notifications.
